- lack of strength or flexibility in the forearm muscles
- lack of strength in the shoulder muscles
- instability of the elbow joint
- Incorrect technique during sporting activities (especially tennis and golf) that exerts excessive strain on the elbow joint and tendons.
- Unsuitable sporting equipment, such as heavy tennis racquets or incorrect wrong grip size on a golf club.
- excessive or repetitive movements of the hands and arms,
- continuously causing muscles and joints to take heavy weights causing strain
- other factors such as irritation or compression of nerves that run from the neck down through your arm.
